Personal bankruptcy

​Bankruptcy is a legal procedure mainly suited to people whose circumstances are unlikely to change and who have little hope of paying off their debts within a reasonable time. Bankruptcy is a form of insolvency, and normally only suitable if you cannot pay back your debts in a reasonable time. Any assets you own will normally be sold to pay off your debts and almost all of your debts are written off, allowing you to make a fresh start of your financial way.

​Which debts can be written off during bankruptcy? Bankruptcy writes off most types of debts including debts to the banks and other financial institutions, credit card debts, unpaid taxes, benefits over-payments and etc. However, such debts as criminal fines, Court orders telling you to pay compensation to someone for personal injury, child maintenance arrears are excluded from the bankruptcy.

​The cost of our service for the implementation of the bankruptcy procedure is £840.00. Government fee is payable separately and at the moment it is £680.00.

  • Notification of Creditors about the commencement of the bankruptcy proceedings
  • Determination of the amount of debts at the time of the bankruptcy procedure
  • Preparation and submission of bankruptcy petition
  • Representation of client’s interest with an Insolvency Office
  • Notification of Creditors’ on the completion of the bankruptcy procedure in order to cancel debts

Appeals

Appeal is one of the ways to show your disagreement with the decision. In most cases, everyone has the opportunity to appeal against the decision and apply for a review of the decision and provide further evidence. However, it should be remembered that each decision has a time limit within which to appeal (usually 30 days). It is therefore essential that the appeal be submitted in time for it to be considered. When appealing after the deadline, there must be good reason explaining the delay.

Trademark registration

You can register a trademark to protect your name, product and/or service. The ® symbol next to your brand will indicate that it is yours and will protect you from attempts to benefit from your business name. Trademark usually includes any word, phrase, logo, number, colour, and sound or image combination. Registering a trademark will allow you to license or sell your trademark, as well as suing anyone who uses your trademark without your permission. Government registration fee is £200 and our service costs £100 plus VAT.

Tax code change

The tax code is used by an Employer to determine the correct amount of taxes deductible from Employee’s salary. Tax code is changing every year and depends from the personal allowance.

Why do you need an apostille? Without it, the document simply will not have legal force in another country. The cost of processing an apostille per document is £55 + VAT, terms of processing are 7-10 days, we also offer legalisation of documents within 1 business day and the cost of the service is £150 + VAT.

Divorce

Our experts will help you to arrange a divorce in the United Kingdom by mutual consent, if you do not have joint children and property. You can start divorce procedure if your situation meets the following criterias:

  • You are married more than 1 year

Civil claims

If your clients are in breach of their contractual obligations and do not pay their invoices for the services and / or goods provided within the time limit, you have the right to sue for debt.

Before starting a civil claim, try to settle the debt by negotiation, but if it is not possible to resolve the debt by negotiation, then you have an option to start the claim with a Court. The Government fee for filing a claim with the Court depends on the amount being recovered and may be provided to you when the amount of your debt will be calculated.
